Mission Statement
As a new chapter of Volunteers Around the World and a new organization at UCSC, we are asking for as much help as we can get. Any donations are highly appreciated! On top of funding our trips, donations will be used towards purchasing the medicine and equipment we will be bringing for the communities in our host country. It is our goal to spread awareness that people in these countries do not have the educational and medical resources that we have the access to. Not only do we want to strive to learn from a new culture and environment, but we also want to use the resources that we have the privilege of taking for granted to help those in need.

Health education is core to VAW's purpose. Here we are at Bay View Elementary School helping children understand the nature of diseases.
